Southern Vermont Young Professionals (SoVTYPs) is a welcoming group for people ages 22–45 who live or work in Windham County and want to feel more connected, socially, professionally, and personally. Whether you’re just settling in or have been here a while, SoVTYPs is about finding your people, building your network, and being part of what’s next for our region.

Each year, in the leadup to the Southern Vermont Economy Summit, we honor those who’ve gone above and beyond as community leaders and volunteers, and for their professional accomplishments and commitment to serving the region.
Many of our awardees go on to receive statewide recognition in Vermont Business Magazine’s annual Rising Stars awards.
We host 24+ events each year with a mix of social, recreational, networking, and volunteer opportunities. Members get access to all of these events at a discounted rate!
